ELECTION PROCEDURES FOR THE 2009/2010 ELECTION OF RGHF BOARD MEMBERS

Since the ByLaws of RGHF have prescribed a 12 member Board and additional members for each Rotary International Zone, it is the consensus of the present executive committee and board to hold an election for 12 Regular Board Members and as many as 34 zone board members (one for each zone) November 15, 2008 by email. Please refer to www.historyboard.org for offices and zones

Any current RGHF member, who has paid the minimum per year dues (currently $30.00), three months prior to the election, is eligible to be nominated as a candidate for election to the General Board, or any member nominated for a zone, living in that zone, providing a declaration is received by the President and Secretary on or before 5:00 P.M. CST November 10, 2008. (nominees must have been active member of RGHF for three months prior to the close of nominations.)

In the event there are more than 12 general board member names, or more than one member for each zone filed, all of the candidates names for election to the new RGHF BOARD will be listed alphabetically and/or by zone on an appropriate ballot, which will be submitted by email to all qualified dues paying members by the Secretary on November 15, 2008. Each member may cast a vote for the entire slate, using our RGHF forum for voting. Protests should be sent to the secretary and president. Ballots must be cast by 5:00 P.M. CST November 27, 2008.
